Jakob Sveen is the Cluster Lead Northern Europe & General Manager UK and Ireland, Johnson & Johnson Vision, based in Wokingham, UK.
In this role, Jakob is responsible for driving commercial excellence and advancing our efforts to create an elevated connected Vision Experience for customers and consumers in the UK, Ireland and Nordics.
Jakob was previously part of Johnson & Johnson Consumer, where he has held a series of commercial and strategic roles across both developed and emerging markets in EMEA, and in the US during the past 18 years. Most recently he was General Manager, CEE region for the Johnson & Johnson Consumer Commercial Group, where he successfully transformed the business back to 7.4% growth, driving strategic focus and building talent pipeline and employee engagement. Prior to this, Jakob held the role of Chief of Staff to the Worldwide Chairman of the Consumer Group, leading strategy and analysis across a range of projects.
Jakob, who is Norwegian by nationality, and previously based in Poland, is now based in the UK with his wife Maja and two children.
