      Accelerating early-stage innovation through strategic collaborations

      Over the past 135 years, we’ve learned a lot about how to innovate and adapt to evolving health needs. That knowledge and experience informs our innovation, which is motivated by the need to find solutions for everyday health challenges and life-threatening conditions. With our global reach comes a responsibility and a unique ability to leverage our deep expertise and extensive partnerships to unlock the full potential of science and technology to improve health and well-being in response to these needs. We pursue breakthroughs in science and technology in our own laboratories and through our powerful network of scientists and entrepreneurs all over the world.

      Collaborating externally through Johnson & Johnson

      We know that true innovation takes a village and that’s why we’re seeking the most promising early innovations and collaborators around the world to benefit from our insight and collaboration. We work side by side with innovators across Pharmaceuticals and MedTech throughout their journey, providing a robust exchange of ideas and resources to support them.

      In EMEA, the Innovation Centre, based in central London, UK, acts as a gateway into Europe and the wider region, enabling innovators to access a diverse range of experts and ideas to accelerate their innovations.

      We understand the uniqueness of each collaboration and are equipped to personalise our support to what our collaborators and partners need, whether that be providing scientific mentoring and commercialisation expertise, seed investment or early-stage funding of R&D collaborations. We also help virtually incubate companies through our JLABS, offering resources, mentorship. Companies seeking funding can also receive investment through JJDC, which is our strategic venture capital organization.

      We believe that with the right care and commitment, innovation can provide better health for all.
