What first attracted you to J&J?
Mainly that the ethos and company values at Johnson & Johnson are very aligned to my own. The culture of J&J and having the chance to work for a company that affects so many people around the world. I remember so clearly when I received the phone call to say I had been offered my student placement role and being over the moon at the opportunity.
What has been your J&J career journey?
My Johnson & Johnson journey started in 2013 as a 12-month Marketing Assistant student placement forming part of my Business and Marketing degree. When I left university, I secured a Marketing Executive role back at Johnson & Johnson in Leeds. From here, I progressed through roles in congress and events, marketing and most recently as a project manager for our internal employee engagement. In January this year, I took on my latest challenge as a New Product Introduction Specialist within the Ethicon North-East and Yorkshire Wound Closure Team, focusing on our latest technologies and products to make a positive impact on patient outcomes.
What makes you proud to work here?
Firstly, the difference our products make daily on improving patients’, family members’ and friends’ lives but also the colleagues I have worked with over the last 8 years who really do go above and beyond.
